"If you dare wear short, shorts; Nair for short, shorts!!"
Okay--if you remember their ads/commercials you will be singing that song in your head for days!! --Sorry!! :)
Madison is almost 12 (in November) but I guess I wasn't expecting this so soon! "Mom, can I shave my legs?" EEk!!
I didn't quite want to hand over a razor and by gosh, that only last about a day before there is stubble anyway, right? So I suggested Nair. I forgot how horribly it smells--like a permanent for your hair smells like!! Yuck! So here is Maddie holding her nose (she will literally throw up if she catches a whiff--thanks to her Dad she has a very soft stomach like him!) And it had to stay on for 4 minutes!! I didn't break out my camera--she probably wouldn't have let me take of picture of her anyway--with white stuff all over her legs straddling the tub!!
She actually held her nose for the whole 4 minutes--plus the time it took to rinse it off! Well--I guess I am not a real pro at it and missed a few hairs--oh, well, it is better than what she had before right? She thought so too, and we both said we would do it better the next time--Next time? Well--she has grown up so maybe once a week we will pull out the Nair! She does go to middle school in a few months... Uh-Oh! It is just beginning, isn't it!?

I can't believe she almost 12 now. I remember when you guys came to our house for our Christmas Eve party and Madi was just a baby. Time goes by so fast! I don't look forward to the days Kayla starts asking to do grown up things. Tell Madi good luck with the Nair. Happy Shaving!
that is crazy. Haylee is eight though and I am going to have to do that alot sooner than 12. I never thought about nair though. good idea.
it IS just the beginning, but for some reason the hairy legs thing is really embarrassing for them. allie has been shaving, yes shaving with a razor for a year now.
i thought about nair but the chemicals make me nervous, nothing that smells that bad can be good! ha ha! anyway, so i shaved her the first time and sort of supervised a few times after that and then she was great. she's cut herself a few times but nothing major.
especially with four girls, it really is just the beginning with you! :) good luck!
Try an electric razor. Just a thought. I never thought of getting my girls one, for some odd reason, until this year for christmas. Megan swears they're great! She & hailey have really sensitive skin so it really helps. I only bought 19.99 ones & they have been great-
