Kerby was given a surprise luncheon the day before his birthday (that way he wouldn't suspect!) by the people at work!  He was totally surprised!  It was great because he hates stuff like this!  ;)

St. George, Part I

For Memorial Day we headed to St. George to meet up with Grandma and Grandpa and the Brimhalls/Ryans!  It was a lot of fun!  They swam, went to the park, rode bikes, and Kerby and Grandpa golfed.

Maddie is a Teenager!

Maddie's Cake
You will notice it says 'Maddie' instead of 'Madison'. She wants to go
by 'Maddie' now! :) **This completes bugs Kerby! ;)

My cute neighbor, Morgan, made this cake! It is amazing! It was hard to
cut into it because it was so great! She designed this on her own
with 'lavender, black, white, stripes, dots' as her guide!

I am a little behind on my blog posting but here goes...

I am officially the mom of a teenager! Maddie turned '13' on Monday, November 23, 2009! Here are just a few of the reasons I love this girl:

* She constantly shows me cars that are for sale that would be 'perfect' for when she turns 16! Her reason: "Mom, you might not find a good deal like that in 3 years!" ;)

* She loves to read. I am glad she is my Twilight buddy! She has also read all the Harry Potter books as well as many others! I hope she can instill her love of reading to Taylor... ;)

* She is Payton's buddy! They have a special bond and Maddie is always helping Payton with anything she needs! Payton has Maddie wrapped around her little finger!

* She does well in school and recently got a 4.0!

* She is nice to everyone (maybe not her sisters...) and has lots of friends!

* She loves to dance and sing! She dances all over the house and knows the words to all the hit songs! :)

* She can be really silly sometimes for fun! She will dress up silly and loves crazy hair day at school!

the internet to find a fun list of things to look for! The girls had a great time!

What a cutie! She was so excited all week that her birthday was coming up and that she was going to be 3! She even got a little mad when we told her it was Ellie's birthday (May 23rd) saying, "No! it is my birthday!!"
