Movie on the Square

Hanging out on the Square!
FMC is in charge of Movies on the Square this year so we thought we would go and check it out!  They have little performances of local groups before it gets dark.  So we had to 'suffer through' Canyon Dance Co. put on a show!  It was horrible!  I am SO glad we don't have the girls take dance there anymore!  And then--after sitting through that--they annoucned that the wind had kicked up too much and they would be unable to show the movie!

The screen is mounted on the side of the building and I guess it started blowing the screen too much!  Anyway--what a waste!  We had packed up some blankets and chairs and snacks and stopped for pizza on the way!  We even had Paige and Megan come with us!

Hannah Montana: The Movie

The girls don't know it yet but today we are all going to Hannah Montana: The Movie!! It is part of their Easter Surprise!! I even bought the soundtrack so they can load it on their iPod's!! They will be so excited! I had been teasing them that this weekend is kind of busy and that we probably won't be able to go till next week! I bought the tickets ahead of time to make sure we could get in!! I can't wait till they get home from school!! :)

He's Just NOT That Into You!

It's always fun to go to the 'Chick Flick' movies with your girlfriends!! This was a great movie and a good time! After the movie we all went to Village Inn for hot chocolate and pie! These are a fun group of women I have met in the short 5 months we have been in Flagstaff!

Twilight Movie Trailer

Okay--so I am TOTALLY waiting for this movie to come out!! I figured out how to add a youtube video to my blog! I have looked at all the videos on youtube that relate to twilight and the other books in the series and I am so excited! I know the characters aren't exactly what I pictured but I think they did a great job and they say it follows the book really close!! I wish it would just come out already! I have never really been a patient person!! They say they are already filming, or are done filming, New Moon and Eclipse! I am actually glad, because I was afraid that they would end up getting different people to play the characters in the movies following the first one. Sometimes that happens but I do hate it!

Anyway--for all those who want to go--let's go opening night!! See you at the movies!!!

Mamma Mia!!

Okay--so this is a little late but I did want to put a plug in for this funny movie!! I loved it!! Kind of hard to watch when Pierce Brosnan sang--sorry Pierce, but your voice is not on the good side! ;)

We saw this movie in St. George over the 24th of July and have not stopped singing since! We were lucky my mom volunteered to watch Payton so we could watch the movie in peace! It was definitely a girls day out!! Kerby has a harder time with the music because he remembers the original versions by ABBA! Too bad honey--we like the new versions!

But all in all it was so fun! My kids have been singing the songs for weeks now! My mom gave us the soundtrack so we have loaded it on all their iPods and mP3 players and kept the CD running in the car! So we now have all the songs memorized to say the least! Even Payton joins in on the chorus of most songs!
