Maddie and Tay's orthodontist did it again!  He rented 3 theaters for private showings of Eclipse! We got to see the movie at 7pm and didn't have to stand in line all night--we still stood in line for the 3 theaters so we could get the perfect seat!  Don't have a picture of our GREAT seats because they don't allow cameras in the theater AT ALL!  I had to take it out to the car--they have security guards!!  ;)

Our Summer Trip to Utah! Part III

Grandma Gets Knee Replacement Surgery!

The physical therapy machine that keeps her knee in motion while healing.

Grandma had knee replacement surgery on June 25th!  It went really well and she will have her second knee done on July 12th if all goes well.  We saw her in the hospital on the 25th and stayed in St. George on our way up to SLC.  She looked really good and was in good spirits!

We always have to make our yearly trip to Lagoon when we head up to Utah!  Tim always seems to have enough passes for us!  Thanks Tim!  The kids love it a lot even though we have been there umpteen times!

Our FIRST camping trip as a family!

Our new pop-up trailer!

Okay so we have NEVER taken the kids camping!  We are losers!  Anyway--so we got this pop-up and before the soccer season starts and takes all our Saturdays we thought we would go camping!  Well--we showed up at Pine Grove Campsite and it was FULL!  Well, I didn't want to back up since I was towing the trailer so I thought I would just drive through and look for another campground.  But the campground lady flagged me down and said she had a spot open up!  Well--by the time I went around to it, it was taken!  Then I saw the guy in the next spot looking like he was packing up so I asked him!  He was so we waited around for him and then pulled into the spot! 

It was so nice!  It was paved which was great so we brought the bikes!  It had a built in fire pit, a picnic table and a small stand up grill.  We only paid for one day since we weren't sure if we would like it but we loved it!  So we stayed a 2nd night after going into town to get more food!  We made chili one night and hamburgers with fruit salad the next and made smores BOTH nights!! YUM!  Kerby got up early and made a fabulous dutch oven breakfast!
