TWILIGHT Mania Here We Come!! ;)

Maddie and Tay's orthodontist did it again!  He rented 3 theaters for private showings of Eclipse! We got to see the movie at 7pm and didn't have to stand in line all night--we still stood in line for the 3 theaters so we could get the perfect seat!  Don't have a picture of our GREAT seats because they don't allow cameras in the theater AT ALL!  I had to take it out to the car--they have security guards!!  ;)

Friends are GREAT!!

Okay, this is just too cute not to share! Wende, my cute, awesome friend from Centerville, sent this to me and I got it in the mail yesterday! (I just LOVE fun mail!) I guess Bath and Body Works has a 'Twilight' line now and she thought of all her Twilighter friends! How sweet! What a pick-me-up when you are not expecting it! She had a cute note written on the back of the Edward picture! (and isn't that just a swell picture of Edward! ;)

Wende, I wish we could go to the midnight showing together! Cause I know you would totally buy tickets for the midnight show (you probably have already!) and be just as excited as me!

**Just as a sidenote--Maddie and I get to go to New Moon TWICE! We had already secured our midnight tickets (we had to buy them early to ensure we had seats!) and then 2 weeks ago her AWESOME ortho decided to rent out TWO theaters for private showings at, imagine this, 6:00pm!!!! So now we get to see it at 6pm BEFORE everyone else and NOT wait in line!! :) And then we get to go back, wait in line, and see it at midnight!! Can't wait!! ;)

Twilight is finally here on DVD!

Yes I went out (actually RAN if I am being truthful) and bought my copy! Yes, I went to Target because, of course, it had the THREE disc DVD edition!! We have watched it several times, much to the dismay of my husband (who--still can't see 'what the big deal is?')

The movie wasn't that great but the books were wonderful and I still keep hoping I will get the same feelings from the movie that I got reading the books!! I know the movie was cheesy but I could still watch it over and over again--like I have read the books over and over again!!

We are loving the soundtrack too! At first I really didn't like it but now I love it and have it in my car!

We printed the sheet music for Bella's Lullaby and Maddie has been practicing (and maybe I have been too!) I wish I could play it as well as Rob does in the movie! He is an amazing piano player!

Heidi and I went to the Twilight opening together! Nate and Kerby came too! Hey--who wouldn't want their honey to attend a romantic movie with them?! Well--maybe if they didn't do it kicking and screaming! Anyway--Wende, my friend, had said that Nate and Kerby would probably be the only men in the theater!! So Nate suggested they walk in together holding hands!! They decided against that--it was just TOO much!! ;)

Luckily it turned out that there were a few other men in the theater (--maybe 3 or 4)!! I think Kerby was getting into it because he kept asking questions through the movie!

I liked the movie and can't wait till the sequels!! Yes--it was sappy. Yes--it was cheesy. Yes--I found myself giggling here and there. But I still enjoyed myself!! Edward is sure dreamy!! ;)

Twilight Movie Trailer

Book Nerd

Well--I am officially a book nerd! I have really gotten into reading over the past few months! But my latest obsession--The Twilight Series! Heidi had mentioned it eons ago to read these books about vampires and romance! Ugh! I seriously was thinking "Ugh"! I like the suspense novels like John Grisham (I have read most of them) and really any romance novel out there--Oh how I love a happy ending! But vampires and even werewolves? Well--I finally took the bait a few weeks ago and borrowed my sisters books! Wow! It didn't take long and I was hooked! I think I read them faster than ANY book I have ever read before! I don't think there has been a book that I physically could not put down at night but had to FORCE myself to close the cover by 1:30am so I could get some decent sleep in order to function the next day! Even during the day, I would try to 'sneak' in a few minutes here and there, when I could, just to get a few more pages in! Well--on Friday night we were still awake at midnight and Kerby turned to me and said, "We could see if Walmart is 24 hours and go buy the 4th book before anyone else?" What a sweetie! I didn't make him go get it for me--at least until the next morning at 8am! Anyone else get suckered into these books and have you read the last one yet? I am about half way through this one! I better be able to find another book that keeps my attention like these! I haven't even watched any TV in probably 4 weeks now--I read instead!
