Kids Love Playing in the Snow!

The girls love their picture taken! This was one of the first snow storms. As you can see their is barely any snow YET! We know the snow will come soon!

As soon as the kids get up in the morning they are begging to go out and play in the snow! Brrrrr....

The girls got to help out again at the Lighting ceremony for the Little America Hotel here in Flagstaff. Maddie got to read the 'Polar Express' and Taylor got to help out with the Ornament Making table. They had a lot of fun and got to dress up!

My cute neighbor, Morgan, made this cake! It is amazing! It was hard to
cut into it because it was so great! She designed this on her own
with 'lavender, black, white, stripes, dots' as her guide!

I am a little behind on my blog posting but here goes...

I am officially the mom of a teenager! Maddie turned '13' on Monday, November 23, 2009! Here are just a few of the reasons I love this girl:

* She constantly shows me cars that are for sale that would be 'perfect' for when she turns 16! Her reason: "Mom, you might not find a good deal like that in 3 years!" ;)

* She loves to read. I am glad she is my Twilight buddy! She has also read all the Harry Potter books as well as many others! I hope she can instill her love of reading to Taylor... ;)

* She is Payton's buddy! They have a special bond and Maddie is always helping Payton with anything she needs! Payton has Maddie wrapped around her little finger!

* She does well in school and recently got a 4.0!

* She is nice to everyone (maybe not her sisters...) and has lots of friends!

* She loves to dance and sing! She dances all over the house and knows the words to all the hit songs! :)

* She can be really silly sometimes for fun! She will dress up silly and loves crazy hair day at school!

She did a 'Mall Scavenger hunt' for her party! It was a lot of fun! She searched all over
the internet to find a fun list of things to look for! The girls had a great time!

Phoenix Zoo! Part 2

The day at the Phoenix Zoo was awesome! The kids had a great time! It had been a while since we had been there so it was nice to see all the new stuff!!

We drove down to Phoenix to do the MS walk! It was fun and then we got a free day at the Phoenix Zoo! We sure love this Zoo!The End...

Friends are GREAT!!

Okay, this is just too cute not to share! Wende, my cute, awesome friend from Centerville, sent this to me and I got it in the mail yesterday! (I just LOVE fun mail!) I guess Bath and Body Works has a 'Twilight' line now and she thought of all her Twilighter friends! How sweet! What a pick-me-up when you are not expecting it! She had a cute note written on the back of the Edward picture! (and isn't that just a swell picture of Edward! ;)

Wende, I wish we could go to the midnight showing together! Cause I know you would totally buy tickets for the midnight show (you probably have already!) and be just as excited as me!

**Just as a sidenote--Maddie and I get to go to New Moon TWICE! We had already secured our midnight tickets (we had to buy them early to ensure we had seats!) and then 2 weeks ago her AWESOME ortho decided to rent out TWO theaters for private showings at, imagine this, 6:00pm!!!! So now we get to see it at 6pm BEFORE everyone else and NOT wait in line!! :) And then we get to go back, wait in line, and see it at midnight!! Can't wait!! ;)

Taylor's Sewing Class

A cute lady in our neighborhood is doing a 12 week sewing class for 4th-6th graders. This was the setup for the first day! What a creative and patient friend she is for doing this for the girls!

Taylor is definitely taking after my mom in her love of sewing! Here she is making a purse with some leftover fleece and ribbon.
