Honor Roll Assembly

Well--I was at the school for around 3 hours today! I dropped the kids off at school at 8:40am and decided to just stay since the 3rd grade Honor Roll Assembly started at 9:15am--not really enough time to go back home and then get back to the school on time. I got a great seat though! Front and center! I am so proud of Taylor! She did great! This assembly was to honor those that had made it on the Honor Roll all 3 semesters!

After the 3rd graders were done we went and had a muffin and juice breakfast in the courtyard. It was yummy! Laura Boggess had made killer cinnamon rolls to donate to the event! Yum-Yum! Then I had a little time to kill so I sat in the lobby till the 4th graders were done and then headed back into the MPR for Madison's grade.

I am also so proud of Madison! She got the 3 year Honor Roll award for making it on the Honor Roll all 3 years (3rd - 5th grades)! She also got an extra special award--The Great American Award but I will tell you about that in the next post!

I need to be a little bit more prepared! Everytime they call Madison I haven't hit the "record" button! I guess I need to remember that in a lot of classes the "Bean" name is going to be the first one called in alphabetical order!!

Poor Payton! She was bored stiff! And a little antsy after sitting in the stroller for almost 3 hours!

Madison didn't want her picture taken with her teacher or the principal's so here are just pictures of Taylor!!
