On Saturday while we were cleaning out the garage we noticed a duck swimming in our pool! We took some pictures and video of it carefully as to not scare it away! Maddie suggested we call the Animal Police. I think she has seen too many episodes of Animal Cops on Animal Planet!! Maddie even threw it a piece of bread--to the dismay of Dad who thinks he will be the one cleaning up the soggy bread! It was wading around and quacking to its hearts content while we wondered "What are we going to do?"
We then saw our neighbor to the back of us leaning over the wall and asking about the duck. He stated that its ducklings were in his pool! He has called animal control and the SPCA and they haven't done anything. He hopes the duck will fly back over to his side to take care of its
ducklings!!

We had that same duck in our pool. I wonder where it is keeping its home base?
