Our visit to Utah!

Our visit included so many activities! We went to a movie--some of us saw 'Nim's Island' and some saw 'Speed Racer'. Grandpa, Kerby and Jake went golfing. I was so proud of Heidi and I--we went to the gym and did a Core-Pole class (NO--not an actual pole class--how naughty of you to think that way!) which involved a giant pole that we connected exercise bands to and pulled with all our might in many different exercise positions. It also included some step exercising too! We also went running 3 days--thanks to Heidi for pushing me each day!! **Of course those are all the activities that didn't have pictures! Here are the ones that do:

I love the Brimhall's yard because it transforms into a

More activities from our trip to Utah!

Okay--how often do you get to Limbo when NOT in Hawaii or at a Luau??

Isn't Camille's belly the cutest!? She was due the 10th but didn't have it till the 15th!!
__________

We went swimming in the Ridd's swimming pool at their complex! It was fun but the kids ended up playing on the park toys as well!

__________

We ended up boating on Saturday, July 12th up at Deer Creek! What an adventure! There's really no good beach--just rocks! But we made the best of it and had a great time! We picked up fried chicken and brought lots of snack foods! I don't have a picture of this but what a story it is!! Hayden was playing in the water with Zack and Cam for at least an hour! He got out to get something to eat and tried to brush off all the debris that was on him. But there was this little long black thing next to his navel that wasn't brushing off! It turned out to be a leech!! EEk!! Wow--I had never seen an actual leech in person!! It was still squirming after we had to yank it off--it had a pretty good hold of his skin! He even had a bruise the next day where we tore it off!!

Fun Day at Lagoon!

Get ready!! This one is FILLED with pictures!! Since we only get to go to Lagoon once a year now it is a little more exciting!! We took pictures of everything!! This one is a long read!!--sorry!! ;)

Well, typically Lagoon is very slow on the 4th of July so we decided it would be a good day to go! Also--since Kerby flies back to Vegas on Monday, he would be able to go with us!

It really was the best day! It was overcast for most of the day and the lines were pretty short! We didn't do Lagoon-A-Beach just the rides.

Grandma and Grandpa kept the two 2-year olds so it was even better! Thanks guys!! We love you for helping us out!! :)
Here are the kids on various rides:

Emerie was a bit of a scaredy-cat and wouldn't ride some rides she was actually tall enough for! With some coaxing we got her on a few other than the Kiddie Land rides. Here is the Wild Mouse--one the Emerie is tall enough for but refused to ride!

Musik Express (NO, I don't ride this one myself--I would throw-up!!)

The Sky Ride is always a fun escape! A little time to rest your feet!!

The new ride, the OdySea, wasn't really that great! Picture the Dumbo ride at Disneyland but with fishes and sharks! But the kids loved it!!

Taking turns waiting...

Cute picture of all the kids looking through the fence to see the animals on our way to Pioneer Village.

Jake was so cute to say 'yes' when Emerie asked him the ride the Dragonfly with her in Kiddie Land!! Thanks Jake! You're a sweetie!! :)
Emerie on the Merri-Go-Round and the airplanes. No--again, I don't do spinning rides! ;)

Log Flume--Emerie actually relented and went on this! She liked it! We didn't get too soaked!

It was definitely a fun day with my sister!! :)

The babies were doing great with the grandparents so we decided to stay for the fireworks!! They put on a great show but we didn't want to get stuck in the traffic at the end (it is horrendous!!) so we watched them as we walked to the car and drove the car to the end of the row and as soon as it was over we jetted out of there--fast!!

The kids were beat!
