The 5th graders have an end of year BBQ. All the different classes are assigned different parts of the hamburger and hotdog meal (buns, dessert, chips, fruit, etc.) Madison's class was assigned to do the dessert! Lucky for us! Madison wanted so bad for me to make Carmelita's!! We love them! They are so rich and yummy!! Of course, we always make extra for us!
It was so hot and shade was hard to come by! Payton and Emerie "got" to come with me--by no choice of their own--they were hungry, tired and hot!!
I feel like I am spending my life at Dean Allen Elementary! And tomorrow is worse! It is the last day of school!

be grateful it is almost over. I cant wait until my kids school is 9 month. I hate year round. Lets get together to swim.
Carmelitas are brett's favorite. I have never made them but his mom & sisters love them... I really should make those.

We are sitting here with nothing to do because it is raining like mad- I'm not complaining, I'm not complaining, really I'm not complaining......
How fun! Congrats to Maddie and Taylor for all of their success this year! And to you for being so involved and spending so much time at their school! I think it's great! Oh, and I totally remember being Maddie's age, and shaving for the first time. I think I started out with the electric razor, and that I didn't like that my mom took a picture. It's definitely starting. Eek!
