Our FIRST camping trip as a family!

Our new pop-up trailer!

Okay so we have NEVER taken the kids camping!  We are losers!  Anyway--so we got this pop-up and before the soccer season starts and takes all our Saturdays we thought we would go camping!  Well--we showed up at Pine Grove Campsite and it was FULL!  Well, I didn't want to back up since I was towing the trailer so I thought I would just drive through and look for another campground.  But the campground lady flagged me down and said she had a spot open up!  Well--by the time I went around to it, it was taken!  Then I saw the guy in the next spot looking like he was packing up so I asked him!  He was so we waited around for him and then pulled into the spot! 

It was so nice!  It was paved which was great so we brought the bikes!  It had a built in fire pit, a picnic table and a small stand up grill.  We only paid for one day since we weren't sure if we would like it but we loved it!  So we stayed a 2nd night after going into town to get more food!  We made chili one night and hamburgers with fruit salad the next and made smores BOTH nights!! YUM!  Kerby got up early and made a fabulous dutch oven breakfast!

Movie on the Square

FMC is in charge of Movies on the Square this year so we thought we would go and check it out!  They have little performances of local groups before it gets dark.  So we had to 'suffer through' Canyon Dance Co. put on a show!  It was horrible!  I am SO glad we don't have the girls take dance there anymore!  And then--after sitting through that--they annoucned that the wind had kicked up too much and they would be unable to show the movie! 

The screen is mounted on the side of the building and I guess it started blowing the screen too much!  Anyway--what a waste!  We had packed up some blankets and chairs and snacks and stopped for pizza on the way!  We even had Paige and Megan come with us!

Hannah Montana: The Movie

The girls don't know it yet but today we are all going to Hannah Montana: The Movie!! It is part of their Easter Surprise!! I even bought the soundtrack so they can load it on their iPod's!! They will be so excited! I had been teasing them that this weekend is kind of busy and that we probably won't be able to go till next week! I bought the tickets ahead of time to make sure we could get in!! I can't wait till they get home from school!! :)

The only two Wendy's I know BOTH are amazing photographers!! In Utah I have Wende Moore and here in Flagstaff I have Wendy Shepherd--who incidentally had one of her last photo shoots here in Flagstaff with us! She is moving to Queen Creek (just outside Phoenix)! We are so sad to see her and her cute family move away!! Now I don't have either Wendy close by!!

The photo shoot was so fun and the weather that day was amazing!! There are so many fun vintage spots in downtown Flagstaff!!

The Polar Express

We have been waiting for so long for this to come!! We have had our tickets for months!! The kids were so excited! We all wore our pajamas (except Kerby) this year!

It was so fun to see all my friends from Tucson that I haven't seen in such a long time! We had a group of 67 all together!! We ate at Max and Thelma's restaurant at the Grand Canyon Railway! It was a buffet so, of course, the kids were in heaven!

The Beisner family drove over from Las Vegas to join us!! It was so fun to have them here!!

Then we boarded the Polar Express bound for the North Pole!! :)
