Visit to Nana and Papa's

We went to visit Nana and Papa's house on Monday, July 7th. They were up at the cabin until then. In fact, we thought they might miss the visit with Kerby because he was flying out Monday night to go back to Vegas. We dropped him off at the airport on our way back out to South Jordan. It was a nice visit and the kids had a fun time! They loved going into Nana's little preschool room! She has lots of fun new toys, books and dolls! I just had to get a picture of them:


Emerie wanted to be a 'doctor' so she put on all the garb! Taylor was just wanting to play house--that is so Taylor--wanting to be the Mom!

This was all new to Payton--she had never played in Nana's preschool room before! Madison was actually having fun but just had to pose 'bored' for the picture--or was it that she was upset that I was taking ANOTHER photo of her?! :)

The kids eventually ended up in the backyard. They were hoping to pick raspberries--like they do every year--but it just wasn't quite the season for them yet! They were sure bummed! They LOVE Nana's homemade raspberry jam--she even sent us home with a jar from the freezer--YUM!!

Payton found the old rocking horse that Kerby use to play with--yes, they have held on to it this long!





They went down and picked up KFC for dinner--my kids were in heaven! It really hit the spot and we don't have one close to us here in Vegas so we hadn't had it for quite a while!

Nana hates having her picture taken but she let Madison take it to be nice! They are such great, loving people and we sure miss them a lot! We really only get to see them about twice a year! I know the kids really miss them a lot too!
