We decided to spend the July 24th holiday in St. George. It was a long, fun weekend! We swam, Kerby and Dad played golf, Mekall came down so that was fun for the kids, we shopped--I found some great school shopping, and, of course, we watched the fireworks!!
We got Artic Circle shakes and planted ourself on the baseball field in downtown Washington, UT to watch the fireworks! We then saw a guy selling the neon glow sticks so, of course, the kids HAD to have them! It kept them occupied pretty well while we waited till it was dark!
Okay, so the movie clip is a little hard to see but the kids insisted I take a short movie of them twirling their glow sticks!!
Payton gets such a kick out of fireworks and talks about them for days!! Well--babbles about them more like it!! ;)

i am glad you had fun. our pioneer day activity was so lame. fun that you go to see fireworks. and of course fun that you got to do some shopping. i want to go to that steve and barry store that they opened here. everything is 9 bucks. let me know if you want to go.
I miss the "UTAH" 24th of July celebrations! It looks like you guys had a great time.
