A cute lady in our neighborhood is doing a 12 week sewing class for 4th-6th graders. This was the setup for the first day! What a creative and patient friend she is for doing this for the girls!The first day they made a pin cushion:
Then the next week they made banners for their room:
Just last week they made these cute drawstring backpacks:
And today they made these awesome fleece hats:
Taylor is definitely taking after my mom in her love of sewing! Here she is making a purse with some leftover fleece and ribbon.

so much fun! i want a pin cushion made by taylor! :) allie took a sewing class when she was eight and has loved it ever since. we're excited for taylor to catch the sewing bug! what a cutie!
