Okay--who haven't I told yet that my sister's brother-in-law (yes, it is a mouthful) is going to the Olympics in Beijing? Well--we are ALL so excited that we actually KNOW someone going! My sister, Allison, leaves tomorrow for Beijing for just over two whole weeks! We get to take turns watching her kids so she would be able to go! How exciting is this?!! We have been watching him faithfully over the last 6 or so months to see if he and his teammate Sean Rosenthal would qualify! I don't think I have ever watched so much beach volleyball in my life! We have really come to enjoy watching the sport!
Heidi and her kids and my mom showed up today in Huntington Beach to begin their turn watching Chan and Chloe! We are so excited that we get to see them in just over a week when it is our turn! The kids love the beach and haven't seen Allison's kids for a while!
Here are some more pictures of Jake and his teammate:

For all you sports fans out there his team is definitely going to be one to watch! They recently won a match with their US rival: Dalhausser/Rogers! We were so excited! They give each other a run for their money and we hope to see both teams in the mens beach volleyball finals at the Beijing olympics!! Good luck Gibb/Rosenthal!!!!

YUM-O! how fun to have someone so hot to cheer for! :) we'll be watching for him, we can't wait for the games to begin tomorrow, it should be so fun to watch.
You have every right to be a proud sister-in-law, Stacie and I'm excited to know someone who knows someone whos on the olympic team. I've watched a lot of it too (Oh, you mean the Mens' beach volley ball?)
We'll definitely be watching! It's very exciting that he's there! Lewis has always liked watching Jake play, even before he knew he was his wife's cousin's brother-in-law... that IS a mouthful!
