Taylor had been begging me to sign up to take care of the guinea pigs over a weekend. So we signed up to do this starting Friday January 15 thru the Monday holiday of January 18th. Well...with the crazy snowfall we got starting Monday the kids had the 4 snow days in a row so guess what? We got to take care of the guineas for almost 10 days! Lucky us! ;) Anyway, we almost ran out of food...only had enough to change the wood shavings twice...so it was pretty stinky! But the kids LOVED it! ;)
As a sad side note...one of the guineas died the week AFTER we had it! I am so glad it didn't happen on our watch! :)
