Our sweet little Emerie never ceases to leave us speechless!! On our trip home from St. George for the New Year's holiday Emerie kept unbuckling to try to reach a game that she had dropped. After telling her over and over to get back in her seat and buckle up, we decided to pull-over and get it done ourself! She was scared at the look on Mom and Dad's face (we were just a tad irritated) as we came to buckle her in ourself! She looked out the window and said, "Is this jail? I don't want to go to jail!"
I looked at her kind of surprisingly and then looked at the building we had stopped in front of. She, of course, would notice the 'bars' on the windows! --It was an old abandoned building on the reservation!
We (Mom and Dad) couldn't stop laughing our heads off!! Only Emmie would think of that! ;)
I had to take a picture of it to get the full effect!

Looks like a nice neighborhood you stopped in! :o) Emmie never ceases to amaze me with her funny comments.
thats too funny. i almost thought you were going to say that you actually got pulled over. you must threaten her alot with the jail thing:) just kidding. cute christmas pictures. isnt fun being with just you little family for xmas. the day after is lonely and you wish you were around family but it passes fast! i did find someone that will revcover my pics so keep checking my blog i will do another post.
I loved it! Maybe next time you can stop in front of a hospital and explain the 'no-seat-belt-car-accident' results... :-) Kids say the darnest things. (is that a word?) Was good seeing you guys.
Eli thought this was funny 'cause we threaten our kids with the same thing. All we have to say is "There's a police man behind us" and they straighten up. But your kids are much older and wouldn't fall for that one.
Emmie, Emmie, Emmie! What can I say! She makes me laugh so much!
Emmie is so funny! She cracks me up!
I love your Emmie stories!
