Emerie's Kindergarten Graduation Program

Emerie's Graduation was today! It was so cute and fun! She loves to sing and perform so this was right up her alley! It was around the theme of America, hence the hats, so it was extra special! She has been singing the patriotic songs all week at home in preparation for the program so we have heard them over and over and over... (even before the program!) She was so surprised when I would start to sing along with her. She says, "you know these songs?" --in complete surprise! And I would tell her that I knew them because I remember singing them all in elementary school when I was younger! She was amazed!

Here is a video from the program. Kerby is not as savvy with the digital camcorder and had it on Memory Card Video so it is a little choppy! He also has an unsteady arm!! (Hee-Hee!) Oh Well--you get the jist of the movie! Emerie's visor kept falling in her face so you can barely see her half the time! What a cutie! :)

Afterwards we went to Sonic to get her a treat (always a good tradition to get treats after programs!) I love Sonic but this was one of their not-so-great occasions. First the over charged me so they had to refund was they over charged me. Next, my vanilla coke had no taste of vanilla so they had to redo it (it turned out awesome--and yes--I went for the 44 ouncer!) Last, Emerie spilled her chocolate shake all over the floor! I think I already knew something was going to spill at some point so all along I had guarded my Coke. :)

Payton was crying and didn't want to be in the Sonic picture. (I know it is nto a very good picture because I was trying to take it by myself and be in it at the same time--hence my face!)
